June Care – Service Agreement
1. About June Care
June Care provides friendly & reliable support, shopping and companionship services designed to support independence and reduce loneliness.
June Care does not provide medical care. If a client requires support beyond the scope of these services, June Care may, where appropriate, signpost clients to relevant healthcare professionals, social care providers or other suitable services.
2. Services
Services may include, but are not limited to:

Shopping and errands
-
Meal preparation
-
Light cleaning and laundry
-
Prescription collection/delivery
-
Companionship and social visits
-
Support attending appointments
-
Pet care
-
Welfare checks
-
Assistance with showering
-
Medication prompts
3. Service Delivery
-
Support is provided by one consistent person (no rotating staff).
-
Visits are arranged at mutually agreed times.
-
Services are flexible and tailored to individual needs.
4. Payments
Charges
-
£25 per hour (minimum visit length of 1 hour).
-
Charges are based on time, rather than tasks.
- Recognised UK Bank Holidays are charged at £30 per hour - clients will always be informed in advance is a visit is scheduled on a Bank Holiday
Mileage
-
Mileage is charged at 55p per mile for journeys exceeding 5 miles from June Care's base location. The first 5 miles are included within the hourly rate.
Payment Terms

Invoices are issued every Friday evening via email.

Payment is due within 7 days of receiving the invoice.

Cash, bank transfer and card payments are accepted, if cash is used, a headed receipt will always be provided.

If payment has not been received by the due date, a payment reminder may be issued.

June Care reserves the right to pause or withdraw support visits until any outstanding balance has been paid in full.

Future bookings may be declined where invoices remain unpaid.

Clients experiencing difficulty making payment should contact June Care as soon as possible to discuss the matter.
5. Shopping & Expenses

Clients are responsible for the cost of shopping and other purchased items.

Payment for shopping expenses will be agreed in advance and may be made by cash or bank transfer - June Care will not handle clients bank cards for safety & security purposes.
6. Cancellations

At least 24 hours' notice should be provided where possible.
-
Late cancellations may be charged at the agreed hourly rate.
7. Hospital Admission & Absence
If a client is admitted to hospital or is unavailable for more than 5 consecutive days, June Care reserves the right to release the regular visit slot to another client.
Services may be restarted following discharge or return, subject to availability at that time.
8. Boundaries of Service
Services may include support with showering and medication prompting; however, June Care does not provide:

Nursing care or medical treatment

Administration of medication
-
Clinical tasks or healthcare procedures
-
Wound care or dressing changes
-
Moving and handling requiring specialist equipment or two-person assistance
-
Continence care
-
Emergency response services
Medication prompts are reminders only. Clients remain responsible for taking and managing their own medication.
June Care reserves the right to review, amend or withdraw services if a client's needs change and fall outside the scope of support that can be safely provided.
9. Safeguarding
June Care is committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all clients.
Any safeguarding concerns may be reported to relevant authorities or services where necessary to protect a client's safety and welfare.
10. Insurance & DBS

Fully insured, including Public Liability Insurance.

Enhanced DBS certificate held and registered with the Update Service.
-
Registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
11. Confidentiality
All personal information is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and Data Protection legislation and is treated as strictly confidential.
Information will only be shared where:

Consent has been given;
-
It is required by law; or
-
There are concerns regarding safety, safeguarding or well-being.
12. Ending the Agreement
Either party may end this agreement by providing 7 days' notice where possible.
June Care reserves the right to end services immediately where:

There are concerns about safety or well-being.
-
A client's needs fall outside the scope of services that can be safely provided.
-
Invoices remain unpaid.
-
There is abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour towards June Care.
Any outstanding invoices remain payable following termination of this agreement.
13. Agreement
