About Me
My name is Rochelle, and I set up June Care to provide practical, friendly support that helps people remain independent at home without needing a traditional care service.
The inspiration behind June Care comes from my Nana June, who has always been a big influence in my life. As she became older, I often found there was very little support available locally beyond formal care packages. I could see how important it was for her to maintain her independence while still having access to a helping hand when needed.
I am also mum to a disabled teenage son who, in the future, may benefit from the same type of flexible support that I now offer through June Care. These personal experiences have shaped my understanding of how important it is for people to feel comfortable, supported and in control of their own lives.
Another reason for creating June Care came from my career in Health and Social Care. Throughout the years, I have regularly met individuals and families looking for companionship, practical support and help with everyday tasks, yet there was often very little available locally to meet those needs.
With over 18 years' experience in Health and Social Care, I provide reliable, respectful support with everyday tasks such as shopping, errands, attending appointments, companionship and general well-being support.
Throughout my career, I have completed a wide range of training, including Safeguarding Adults, Mental Capacity Act, Dementia Awareness, Autism and Learning Disabilities, Moving and Handling, Data Protection and Medication Awareness. I also hold a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care and have completed the Care Certificate.
My aim is simple: to make day-to-day life a little easier while helping people feel valued, comfortable and independent in their own homes and local community.
Whether it's a visit for essentials , support to have a shower, support attending appointments, or regular companionship throughout the week, every service is tailored to individual needs.
June Care is built on trust, flexibility and a genuinely caring approach — offering support that feels personal, not clinical.
