Services I Offer

At June Care, I provide flexible, person-centred, non-medical support to help individuals maintain their independence, wellbeing, and quality of life in the comfort of their own home.

Support is tailored to each person’s individual needs and can be arranged on a regular or occasional basis, including daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or one-off visits.

Minimum visit duration: 1 hour.

Shopping 

Support with planning and completing your shopping, including collecting your shopping list or payment, purchasing items, delivering them home, and putting everything away neatly.

Companionship & Check-ins

Friendly visits to provide conversation, social interaction, reassurance, and emotional support, helping to reduce loneliness and promote wellbeing.

Prescription Collections & Errands

Collection of prescriptions and assistance with everyday errands, such as posting letters, collecting parcels, or picking up essential items.

Meal Preparation

Support with preparing light meals, snacks, and drinks, taking into account personal preferences and dietary requirements.

Household Support

Help with light household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment, including:

  • Laundry and ironing
  • Changing bed linen
  • Washing up
  • General tidying
  • Light cleaning tasks

Assistance with showering

Respectful assistance with personal hygiene, including:

  • Showering or bathing
  • Dressing and undressing
  • Personal hygiene and grooming

All personal care is provided with dignity, privacy, and compassion.

Medication Prompts

Friendly reminders and encouragement to support individuals in taking their medication at the appropriate time, in accordance with their prescribed routine.

Please note that June Care provides medication prompts only. I do not administer medication, prepare dosages, handle controlled medications, or provide medical advice.

Appointments & Community Support

Support to attend appointments, social activities, community groups, or local outings, helping individuals stay connected and maintain their independence.

Welfare Checks

Visits to check on an individual’s wellbeing and safety, providing reassurance to both clients and their families.

Respite for Family Carers

Short-term support to allow family members and carers time to rest, attend appointments, or take a break with confidence.

Flexible Support Options

  • Evening support available
  • Weekend support available for short-term and one-off visits - currently, I do not offer regular weekend availability 
  • Bank holiday visits available at enhanced rates
  • Individual support plans tailored to personal needs
